Quinteto Latino Performs Gabriela Lena Frank's Mitos
The evening opens with San José's own Quinteto Latino performing Mitos by Grammy Award-winning composer Gabriela Lena Frank. You may have heard her name recently — this spring, her opera El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego made its debut at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, conducted by Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Hearing Quinteto Latino perform her music right here in San José is a rare treat.
